Okay, time to start planning what to make for Hearth's Warming Eve!
Alright, so I've already envisioned a game that I'd really like to create... Once I get an idea in my head that I like, I gotta go through with it. I'll still listen to suggestions/ideas, however the game is mode is pretty much set, so all I will be able to take out of peoples input are certain concepts and features.
My goal is to know what type of game I'll be making before November 10th.
Ideas so far:
1) Platformer - Play as spike as he narrates through the events of the play, solving puzzles/collecting items. Work your way to Pegasopolis, Unicornia, and Earth though various level types. Fight the Windigo's as the final boss. (As awesome as it would be to be able to play as the different ponies... The reason that it would be spike playing through the entire game is that I do not have the ability to draw and animate them all in any timely manner)
2) Defence/Offence - Select a pony faction: Pegasus, Unicorn, or Earth. Manage your 'Base' by creating defences (automated & manual) to defend against the opposing factions, capture land by sending out your own units. Your goal is to expand towards Pegasopolis/Unicornia/Earth. Once you've made it to the end, you must defeat the Windigo's.
Please feel free to provide your thoughts on the ideas so far. I am still open to more ideas, and will add more as I come up with them.
